Practical Development - Final Outcome - Publication

My final publication has achieved a really synthesised outcome from my practical and theoretical research. Encompassing the naive and playful aesthetic of my print-based work and the iconic colour palette of traditional fairgrounds, the book is engaging and accessible whilst using poetry and rhyme to address some more poignant messages. The technical process required some understanding of adobe illustrator and application of  spot colours, but I feel that these have worked to really strengthen the outcome through maximisation of colour palette and utilisation of texture and tone. With consideration of the craft focuses of my theoretical research, the book serves as a physical tool that communicates the thematic concerns of my investigation, whilst practically exploring traditional media and techniques.
